#1 is the best, #50 is the worst
The 2015 tax package was a Republican governor's bill. Eight Senate Republicans backed it, including Ben Kieckhefer, whom Lombardo later hired to run the governor's office. The same ad attacks Ford over data center tax breaks Lombardo supports.
Ben and Felicia Horowitz gave Better Nevada PAC $1 million on May 11. Lombardo posted his support for data centers on May 14. On May 21 the wife of Switch's founder gave another $1 million. He wrote in June that data centers raise water use and power bills, but 'it isn't happening in Nevada.'
SB 217 would have written a right to IVF into Nevada law. It passed the state Senate 15-5 with Republican votes. Lombardo killed it, calling the insurance mandate 'fiscally impossible' — while saying he supports making IVF more accessible.
Trump won Nevada with 50.6% of the vote to 47.5%, a margin of 3.1 points, with 66.2% of eligible voters turning out. (Full 2024 presidential results, state by state.)
